Robert Thorpe is joining us as a new Trustee. Following a 20 year career in banking with Barclays, Robert served as Director of Operations for both the Ashmolean Museum, University of Oxford and The Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London. He was responsible for both ‘business as usual’ operational management at both institutions and the leadership of key aspects of their transformational redevelopment projects. He brings expertise and experience in strategic analysis, change and project management, governance, operational and HR management, financial management and analysis, commercial development, and risk assessment and mitigation. We are delighted to have his input as we transform the future for Dr Johnson’s House.
