Membership

Dr Johnson’s House Trust is a small, independent charity established in 1911 to care for this historic landmark and promote learning and scholarship. We are now entering a time of transition as we enhance the visitor experience, broaden the scope and reach of our learning programme, improve accessibility, and undertake capital works to further preserve this treasure for the future. By becoming a Member, Supporter, Patron, or Gough Square Benefactor, you will support provide critical support for the future of Dr Johnson's House.

*Suggested donation £1,100, dinner booking £150pp. Please note, it is possible to purchase a dinner ticket without becoming a Gough Square Benefactor. However, so that your support can make a meaningful difference to the House and you can receive the other benefits offered, we strongly encourage the addition of the suggested donation against which Gift Aid could be claimed.
