Private Tours
We welcome private viewings of the House!
Dr Johnson's House is available for exclusive evening tours. This includes a curator's tour of the house after hours, and time to socialise in the historic surroundings. Groups are welcome to bring their own wine and Dr Johnson's House can provide glass hire. We can provide the drinks for an additional fee. We are taking bookings in advance. The evening tour lasts up to two hours and finishes by 8.30pm.
The cost is £15.00 per person with a minimum equivalent of 10 people - £150. Maximum group size is 30 people. Glass hire is £1 per person if you bring your own drinks; alternatively we can provide these refreshments for you for an additional fee (with no glass hire fee). Do get in touch to discuss your event and we'll take care of the rest!

Group Tours
We welcome group tours of the House!
Dr Johnson's House is available for group tours. Tours are led by curatorial staff and last 45-60 mins. Visit the house to soak up the atmosphere and socialise with your fellow tour members in these historic surroundings. Currently, we are taking bookings for Tuesdays-Saturdays, though alternative days can be arranged where required.
The cost is at the discounted rate of £8.00 per person plus a flat fee of £25 for the tour guide. Maximum group size is 30 people. Please get in touch to book or call us on 020 7353 3745.
