What's in a Word?
In partnership with St Bride FoundationWorking with the St Bride Foundation Youth Theatre, fifty teenagers used Dr Johnson's House as the inspiration for a piece of promenade theatre, music and song. The young people investigated Johnson and his circle of friends with our Education Officer. They went on to work with theatre professionals to develop this research into characters and scenes, which were performed in Dr Johnson's House to an appreciative audience!
A documentary of this project was created by some of the participants and is available for viewing on Vimeo. Please contact us for the link.
