| Dr Johnson's House is open to the public throughout the year, from Monday to Saturday.
The opening hours are:
11am - 5.30pm (May to September)
11am - 5pm (October to April)
The house is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

PLEASE NOTE:
Due to building works, Gough Square is currently inaccessible by vehicles due to building works. It will remain so until further notice. It will, however, still be accessible on foot.

Bus numbers 4, 11, 15, 23, 26, 76 and 172 run along Fleet Street.

Guided tours are available to pre-booked groups at no extra charge.

Evening guided tours for groups are available, when the house is closed to the public.
Charges are from £8.50 per person, with optional wine and/or light buffet provided. Prices on application.
