Guide to Dr Johnson's House
£3.50 + P&P

This illustrated booklet introduces the reader to Dr Johnson and his friends, through a visit to his house in London, 17 Gough Square. Built in 1700, it is the only known house of Johnson's which still survives, out of the 17 London homes he lived in. The guide takes the reader through the house, room by room, and by the end of the tour many of Johnson's friends, the locality, and eighteenth-century life will have become a little more familiar.
